ICM Registry Extends Sunrise Period for .XXX Domain Registrations

Palm Beach Gardens, FL (October 28, 2011) -  ICM Registry, the company responsible for the new .XXX top level domain (TLD), has extended Sunrise A and Sunrise B registration periods for an additional three days to conclude Monday, October 31, 2011 at 16:00 UTC (Noon ET).

“Due to an incredible demand in the final week and at the request of several registrars who want the weekend to process a backlog of applications, we have extended the deadline,” says Stuart Lawley, CEO of ICM Registry. “This extension will provide potential registrants with valuable time to secure their domains and/or remove registered trademarks from the registry to further protect their brand equity.”
